Managing Director, BlueBolt

Tracy McCreary is Managing Director and Partner of BlueBolt, an award-winning, independent visual effects studio based in London with credits including Robert Egger’s Nosferatu; Ridley Scott’s The Dog Stars; and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War. Tracy is responsible for leading the studio’s growth, scope of work and its close-knit team.

Tracy joined BlueBolt in 2015 following a successful US based career working on the production team of major Hollywood feature films including Iron Man 2; Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Cowboys & Aliens. Tracy was promoted to Managing Director in 2021 following six years in Executive Producer and VFX Producer roles, overseeing film and TV productions from Taboo (Scott Free/BBC) to Mission Impossible: Fallout (Paramount).

Everybody sees what happens on the screen and what goes out, but there's so much work and effort goes into production, the preplanning and making these things happen, to be recognised for that work that goes on preproduction is amazing!

To recognise people that do stuff that isn't normally recognised, you know it's normally the hosts, the executive producers and the creative directors, but yeah the technical stuff makes it happen!
