Head of Post Production, Whisper

Gareth Steven is Head of Post Production at Whisper, a role he's held since 2021. He brings 20 years of experience across global live, studio and scripted productions, including Olympics, Paralympics, FIFA World Cup's, UEFA Euros and Grand Slam tennis tournaments.

Gareth specialises in technical and post production workflow innovation, finding new ways to make the process faster, smarter and built for the demands of live sport and entertainment. Before joining Whisper, he worked at OnSight, Hyperactive Broadcast and Gravity Media, building a career at the heart of broadcast production.

Everybody sees what happens on the screen and what goes out, but there's so much work and effort goes into production, the preplanning and making these things happen, to be recognised for that work that goes on preproduction is amazing!
