Bob Clarke
Bob Clarke is the Chief Creative Director for Licklemor Productions He has been working in broadcast television for over 40 years. The main part of his career has been offline and online editing, and he had his own post-production facility, based in Soho before starting his own production company. Bob has won many awards over the years for his craft of editing working for all major broadcasters.
Bob started producing broadcast programmes with Licklemor Productions in 2009 where he created and directed a magazine show called What’s Up TV which ran for 17 seasons on Sky One. What’s Up was recognised by TV critics making the show “Pick of the day” on many occasions. It was also nominated for CDN entertainment award. Bob also created and executive produced Life & Rhymes hosted by the late Benjamin Zephaniah, which won a BAFTA in 2021 for Best Entertainment Show beating Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Take Away, The Masked Singer and Strictly Come Dancing. The same show also won a Venus Award for Best Entertainment.
Bob’s biggest achievement is being the Founder & CEO of MAMA Youth Project, a charity which is helping people from underrepresented & challenging backgrounds have a career in TV, film & media. He has now helped over 900 people into a career, while helping the industry to be more authentic and inclusive.
His work for training & inclusion has won many awards including RTS, CDN, Business in the Community, The Princess Royal Training Award and most recently in 2024 a BAFTA Special recognition Award.
